This first route from Sandridge is a short stroll around the Jersey Farm Woodland Park that sits just north of St Albans.
After a quick stroll down the High Street, you'll enter the park that boasts a peaceful stretch of woodland and open meadowland in a thriving green space that is home to native trees, wildflowers, and a rich variety of wildlife.

The second route option from Sandridge takes you in the opposite direction, on a loop of walking around the impressive Heartwood Forest that is especially beautiful in April when the Bluebells are blooming.
You can explore the forest further than our recommended route if you wish (we have separate dedicated Heartwood Forest walks on the app), but this route is a lovely simple option if walking in from Sandridge.
