We have four walks that all start from the delightful and picturesque village of Aldbury that nestles in the wonderful Bulbourne Valley near the borders of Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.

The app has various options for your walk ranging from a short family friendly stroll up the steep hill into the beautiful woodlands of the Ashridge Estate, to a flatter walk around the countryside and golf course to the west of the village, to a much longer 7 mile longer adventure that explores both.

The countryside is beautiful, the woodland of the estate is a joy to explore and the village is a truly quintessentially English gem.

The Greyhound Inn at the end of your walk is then a gorgeous and cosy traditional country pub that takes pride of place in the village and offers a beautiful menu of traditional dishes as well as delivering a truly delicious and renowned roast on Sundays.

The village and pub were both featured in the ‘Man vs Baby’ Rowan Atkinson series released on Netflix in 2025.
