Pishiobury Park walk 01
This is a lovely short stroll around the Pishiobury Park that you'll find between Sawbridgeworth and Harlow, close to the Hertfordshire and Essex county border.
It includes a walk through the pretty park itself and a wander along the tree-lined 'Oak Walk' path.

An easy parkland stroll
Loved it! Lovely walk with the dog. We sort of followed your route but tried to avoid the cows so did a detour. Really peaceful. Lots of space. Grassland with worn paths. Parking is free and plentiful. Nice place to have a picnic. We didnt discover it all on our first visit. We will return. Thank you! We wouldnt have found this gem x

If you have a bit more time, this second route is a longer adventure that explores the pretty Pishiobury Park.
You'll enjoy the park itself, but then also head out a bit further until you reach the River Stort navigation for a short stroll alongside the canal.

Pishiobury Park walk 03
Our final route from Pishiobury park is this much longer adventure that starts and ends in the pretty Pishiobury Park.
You'll walk through the park itself of course, but then also enjoy a long stretch of walking along the pretty River Stort Navigation and also visits some nice eateries for refreshments in Harlow Mill.
The canal-side path back into the park after Harlow Mill can get a little bit overgrown, so long trousers are recommended.

Pishiobury Park Walk 3...A lovely walk that mainly takes you along the river Stort (look out for Kingfishers). Starting and finishing in the pleasant Pishiobury Park, which is nice enough to just wander around if you didn’t fancy a longer walk. I don’t think it’s suitable for buggies as the start of the return along the Stort is very narrow due to river bank erosion. But great for dogs.
The walk starts along the river which is lovely, it then goes into a park which is very open and nice but hard to stay on the correct route. The walk then goes back along the river but that path is very slim and goes right outside peoples doors, which could be slightly uncomfortable if they are sitting outside their back doors. Overall the walk was very nice and my dog loved it!
Lovely parkland walk which changes to a beautiful riverside walk thoroughly enjoyable.
Very pleasent and varied walk. Only negative is when leaving the The Harlow Mill, the path is overgrown and full of stinging nettles (in August). So recommend long trousers.
Enjoyable but very muddy in places.
