The walk
Dobbs Weir Walk
This is a lovely short circular walk from the Fish and Eels pub at Dobbs Weir that sits on the River Lea. It has solid paths throughout, so it's also suitable for most abilities.
There is a car park opposite the pub and you'll enjoy lots of river and canal side walking before getting to enjoy the pub itself for some well earned refreshments.

1. Had to finish route on a busy road because the end of the walk was blocked by roadworks. 2. Dog owners please pick up your poo bags as they are littered everywhere. 3. Pub not great but across the road from the pub there was very good food at the Royal Palace Cafe.

If you fancy a walk but don’t want to end up with muddy boots/wellies then this is perfect. Not too exciting but nice and easy. Great for dogs and buggies. Lovely pub (The Fish and Eels) and cafe (River Palace Cafe) at the start/finish
