The Jolly Fisherman, St Margarets

 

This pub walk is a lovely and varied route that starts in the village of St Margarets and visits the lovely McMullens riverside pub called the Jolly Fisherman.

You'll start a with a peaceful stroll along the River Lee Navigation until you reach the impressive bird watching platform in the Amwell Nature Reserve (take some binoculars for this!).

You'll then head north through beautiful countryside until you walk through the pretty Easneye wood and then embark on an adventure into more open countryside.

This takes you along a section of the Hertfordshire Way, and you'll enjoy some nice views as you go. Finally, you'll walk back to the village of St Margarets where you can enjoy a hot or cold reward in the large riverside pub garden of the Jolly Fisherman pub.
