This is a lovely short family-friendly stroll around the pretty woodland of Kings Langley Common.
There isn't a pub on this route, but there are some eateries on the Kings Langley High Street, where we also have some additional walks.

This second route is a wonderful varied walk that extends on the first walk around the Kings Langley Common woodland.
The extension first takes you on an adventure through lovely open countryside with great views before strolling you along a pretty stretch of the Grand Union Canal.
Then, you'll visit the village's High Street where you'll find various eateries, before heading back through the woodland of the Common to the start point.

Last 300yds overgrown / tree down blockmg path but came back on ourselves and took slightly different route
Nice walk, some road walk where dogs need to be on lead but also off lead areas. Couple of climbs

Lovely way to explore the woods, river and town of Kings Langley.
One bit of the path is in the middle of a tractor trodden field which makes it nearly impossible for buggies. ...The canal and locks were amazing to see in action!

This third route option is basically an epic adventure in the countryside around the village of Kings Langley.
This route enjoys the woodland of the Kings Langley Common, and the village High Street with it's various pubs and eateries. It also has a much longer stretch of walking alongside the Grand Union Canal and then a lot more walking through open countryside for a real boost of fresh air and exercise.

Kings Langley Walk 3...Varied and enjoyable, slightly hilly walk through woods, fields, town and along The Grand Union Canal. Mostly on good paths (would guess that the fields of cows would get muddy though). A couple of the narrower paths look as though they may get a little overgrown. As a result, I would suggest it’s not suitable for buggies but great for dog walkers, providing they’re on the lead near the cows and in town. After about 6 miles (close to the end of the walk) there are several nice coffee/cake shops as well as two pubs. We chose the excellent Fred and Ginger Coffee House.
Worth a read!!! Just finished this walk and boy am I relieved. We started it at 7pm and expected a lovely evening stroll. Oh no! We finally reached our car at 10:50pm and ended up having our dinner at midnight. When it says it’ll take 3.5 hours believe it!! ...But I must say it was totally worth it. We saw sheep, a badger (which may or may not have been deceased), cows, a fox, a rabbit, 3 donkeys, and picked some lovely ripe cherries. We only passed one other person which was good as our little Yorkie isn’t very friendly with other dogs. He’s a bit antisocial but made friends with the donkeys and cows. Our dog is ten years old. He kept looking at us like we were insane and I don’t blame him. We had to carry him multiple times. I also had a hurt foot after stepping on a nail, I think it’s safe to say it’s been forced to heal. I even had to get a piggy back half way through. This morning I was limping around and now I’ve just done over 20,000 steps! A fabulous walk but come prepared with comfy shoes, snacks, water and a fully charged phone (possibly a power charger just in case). Trust me, we had three phones and thankfully didn’t end up stranded thanks to having 1% left on the last phone. Hallelujah we did it!!!!
Amazing walk and didnt feel like it was nearly 7 miles. There is also a market every 3rd Saturday of the month in Kings Langley which we visited.
Lovely walk. It took us 2 hours 22 minutes to complete and it was 6.73 miles. Quite a few inclines here and there. Quite varied and nice views. There were cows in one field we had to pass through but they were fine. Would do it again. Three pubs en route and a free car park
