This short walk around Mallards Pike Lake is great for families or if you just want a short stroll in lovely surroundings. The easy path loops gently around the water, with plenty of ducks and wildlife to spot.
There are lovely woodland views all the way, and you can finish up with a treat from the café. A peaceful, fun stroll that's great for all ages.

First-hand experiences
There are at least three running trails and we did the 10km rather than follow the route. My advice would be to check the map bu the cafe. Toilets good but cafe couldn’t cope at 1pm on New Year’s Day - not a criticism, just a comment
