The walks take in sections of the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal, quiet village lanes and waterside paths, with one route extending to the scenic Saul Junction where two historic canals meet. Another shorter option circles Frampton Court Lake for an easy stroll. With lovely waterside views and welcoming village pubs nearby, these walks offer a relaxing way to enjoy this charming area.

This is a lovely short walk around Frampton Court Lake, perfect for a quick stroll in beautiful surroundings.

While it's a shorter route, you can easily combine it with our other walks in the area to explore more of the charming village and the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal.

After your walk, you'll find a few great pubs in the village to relax and enjoy a drink or meal.

A short flat walk wifh a few stiles not suitable for wheelchair users....The Three Horseshoes pub is temporarily closed but the Bell Inn is open.

This walk takes you around the charming village of Frampton-on-Severn and along a section of the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal.

It's a very pretty location and the village green is apparently the longest in England. You can sometimes sit outside the Bell Inn pub beside the green and watch Cricket!

A couple of the stiles had very high steps which my 5 ft 3 in wife found a bit of a struggle. Livestock in a couple fields totally ignored us.

Loved it, really easy and pretty

Nice gentle walk. A few stiles. Pub closed (did the walk on a Monday) but the cafe was open. Free car park small and it was full when we got there but you can park on the road. Met lots of nice people on their barges for chats along the way. Cows and horses in a couple of fields but no bother. You could do it with a buggy I guess but you’d need someone strong to lift it over the stiles. Tow path uneven but all flat.

Lovely walk in the sunshine, along Frampton Green and its gorgeous ponds, and along the canal with great views out over the River Severn.

Thoroughly enjoyed this walk on a chilly but sunny January morning. The area around the horses field was really muddy but not surprising in the winter really. I think there were around 5/6 styles. Theres just something lovely about walking near water. Love the fact that the app keeps up with you so lower risk of taking a wrong turn.

A gentle and easy walk with beautiful scenery alongside the canal. Flat route with just a couple of stiles. We had lunch in The Bell which we can highly recommend. Encountered cattle and horses but they didnt take any notice of us.

Pleasant walk, I was a bit put off by the horses in 3 of the fields to cross, however they took no notice of me and the 2 dogs, I was very wary though and was looking for an alternate way round.

My first walk on the app. It took a bit of adjusting to in terms of just following the yellow line but soon got the hang of it....Flat route but a field of cows n two fields of horses

This is a longer version of the previous walk which includes a stroll around Frampton-on-Severn and also the picturesque and interesting Saul Junction, where the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal meets the Stroudwater Canal.

There is also a pretty cafe beside the water at Saul Junction where you can sit and watch the boats go by.

Please note that after the Saul Junction Marina, there is a short section of walking on the road so please be careful.
