Pewsey Downs is a National Nature Reserve located by the Pewsey Vale, Wiltshire. It’s a popular place to walk if you are looking for more strenuous routes with great views. Pewsey Downs walk and Knap Hill
1 mile

This is a short but rewarding walk in the Pewsey Downs. It will take you to the top of Knap Hill and back so you can expect lovely views and a rigorous exercise.

Pewsey Downs walk and Milk Hill
3 miles

This is a slightly longer walk in the Pewsey Downs and this one takes you west from the car park and visits the top of Milk Hill where you'll experience some fantastic views as well as taking you right past the Alton Barnes White Horse.

Pewsey Downs adventure walk
4.25 miles

This is a lovely walk in the Pewsey Downs. It first heads to the top of Knap Hill for some great views before taking you on an adventure through open countryside with lovely views until you reach Gopher Wood for a short woodland stroll. There is quite a climb, so go prepared for a strenuous walk.

This is an epic and varied adventure in the Pewsey Downs. It's a long and strenuous walk, but you'll be rewarded with outstanding views on the downs themselves, as well as some lovely woodland walking in the West Woods.
