Pewsey Downs walk 01
This is a short & simple, but rewarding walk in the Pewsey Downs.
It will take you to the top of Knap Hill and back so you can expect lovely views and a rigorous exercise on this one.
Pewsey Downs walk 02
This is a slightly longer walk option in the Pewsey Downs.
This one takes you west from the car park and it visits the top of Milk Hill and Walker's Hill, where you'll experience some fantastic views as well as taking you right past the Alton Barnes White Horse.
Pewsey Downs walk 03
This is also a lovely walk in the Pewsey Downs that packs a punch in terms of energy consumption.
It first takes you on a gentle countryside walk until you reach a short area of woodland that you can enjoy as you stroll through.
From there the climbing starts as you tackle Draycott Hill and then Knap Hill on your way back to the start, enjoying wonderful views as you go.
Pewsey Downs walk 04
This final route option is an epic and varied adventure in the Pewsey Downs that offers a long extension on the third route if you have the energy and time.
The extra distance takes you through more hills and more woodlands before looping back around until you reach the summit of Huish Down.
From there, you'll embark on the glorious hilltop walk back to the start across Draycott Hill and Knap Hill.
It's a long and strenuous walk, so please go prepared for this.
