The walk
Rushall Walk
This long circular walk begins beside the pretty church in Rushall before heading out into the surrounding countryside.
The route climbs onto Cleeve and Rushall Hills, where the higher ground brings wide, open views and a sense of fresh air and space.
The walk then continues through the quiet village of Charlton St Peter, adding a touch of rural character before returning to Rushall.
With steady climbs and rewarding scenery, it’s a satisfying long walk through this peaceful stretch of Wiltshire countryside.

Really gorgeous walk with the dog, very nice tea room close to the end of the walk which is dog friendly with a very nice menu….. worth a visit! One tall stile which may be a challenge for the less mobile human or dog….. all in all….. have already done this route a couple of times

Brilliant walk - the views were amazing. The road was a pain to cross due to poor visability and cars speeding. Unfortunately, the tea cafe was closed.
