This is a short family-friendly stroll around the pretty West Woods to the south west of Marlborough.
These woods are especially beautiful in the spring time when there is a wonderful carpet of Bluebells to enjoy.

Went to see the Bluebells, absolutely amazing.
Went when the bluebells were out, absolutely fantastic
Excellent app. We mixed the two routes - easy to do as app showed all paths through the woods. Excellent for dogs - ours off lead for whole route. Would be fine for pushchairs and wheelchairs - you would just need to stick to the main track (like a road, albeit a little stoney in places) although there are a few hills - depending on the route you follow. In another week or so, the bluebells will be at their best.
A short and beautiful stroll. The dogs loved it, and so did I.

This second route is a longer walk that takes you deep into and around the lovely West Woods, for those of you that have a bit more time for your adventure.
As with the first route, this walk is especially pretty in spring when the bluebells are in bloom.

Lovely walk, must come back in bluebell season! Great for dogs, no mud today but it’s clear it’s very muddy in wet weather.
Signs clearly say dogs to be on lead but people ignore this. I think this is mainly as its also used by horse riders. If its been raining, the bridle paths will be thick with mud. Its a lovely place to go, well shaded for hotter days. Decent car park. The route was spot on, but lots of pathways to explore. No styles or cattle.
Lovely walk, easy to park even on a busy Saturday. Dogs can be off lead. Beautiful bluebells.
