Ashton Windmill Walk
This route is worth a visit just for the starting point alone, which boasts the photogenic Ashton Windmill.
However, if you do want to stretch your legs after taking in the windmill, this walk takes you on an adventure in the countryside surrounding the small village of Chapel Allerton.
The walk is mainly made up of quiet country and farm lanes and a stretch of lovely countryside walking alongside the 'Allerton Moor Rhyne' draining ditch.
