Anti clockwise is mainly uphill. Id recommended clockwise.

Great walk.

Directions were taking us to Schoolhouse Lane, at the end of which were 6 painted parking spaces, mainly empty. We actually parked just before the turning into Schoolhouse Lane, where there were about 5 off-road spaces. First couple of minutes of the walk were on a narrow road so dogs were on a tight leash. The first field had a couple of horses, but after that it was all farmland so the dogs could be off-lead. Sunday roast at The Jolly Waggoners was very good -lovely staff and a roaring fire. Popped into the farm shop across the road as well.

Go to the pub not the farm if you want a nice lunch

Really enjoyed this walk. Peaceful and tranquil. Didnt meet a single person. Lovely countryside and views. If you have a dog, there are quite a few places where you have to keep them on a lead.

Great walk overall ,no streams or brooks for a dog to cool down in though if its a bit warm ,so make sure you take some water.

The route was well laid out and easy to follow. It’s very quiet with only birds to keep you company. When we walked in early May, we just saw the end of the bluebells in Drinkwater Woods. There’s also a cracking pub at the beginning/end for a well-deserved roast.

The walk was gorgeous! But if give the fram cafe a miss and go to the pub instead. Crap food served badly. A resl shame as Farm shop cafes, in my experience are usually amazing.

We had a great walk and the dogs absolutely loved it. They was off lead most of the time, we used walking boots but probably could have done with wellies as was very wet and muddy at the start of the walk, but it got better. Lovely pint at the pub at the end.

Glorious walk on a glorious, sunny, frosty morning. Varied walk through woods and open countryside. Could be very muddy. App map perfect although one field was ploughed with no obvious path. Easy parking.

Some areas difficult to see where the route goes. Majority of walk was walking around the edge of fields. Good for dog walking.

Another great walk. Started off to walk route 3 but decided to make it longer and so completed route 4. Toilets and cafe and pub at the end/beginning of the walk. Nothing en route! Saw hardly anyone at all. Very peaceful. ...
