Quite overgrown at end of May with nettles, brambles and giant hogweed.

The pub isn't dog friendly - not even in the bar! Not impressed!

Lovely walk but quite muddy in places especially on the narrow paths which had brambles. Lovely to see a stag and deer and lots of ponies/horses.

Easy walk although very soggy and muddy after all the recent rain.

This is a lovely flat walk, although its through uneven fields, and narrow public paths that are overgrown with stinging nettles. It would be very muddy if the weather had been wet. 8th October 2023

Lovely, easy walk across fields and along wooded paths. Saw many horses and sheep along the way. Our 4yr old enjoyed it. The paths are quite narrow in places so not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs.

Very soggy and muddy in places at this time of the year. Wellies nit walking boots required!! A few fields which are open to the elements.

My negativity here is based solely on the fact that we did the walk when the ground was a wet mess. The dog ended up wearing clay clogs and our shoes had clay shoes! ...We also kept finding random carcasses and bits of dead animals. It was like being in a horror movie I swear. Very weird place....10/10 would recommend for this last bit alone.

I’ve only marked this down on enjoyment because we walked out in January, it was wet and extremely muddy. I’ll do the walk again in the spring/summer and might revise my review.

Nice and peaceful open countryside with some hills and nice views. Great pub too!

Route was slightly inaccurate and trail was overgrown in some parts

Lovely walk, although still quite muddy in places despite slightly drier weather recently. One or two easy diversions needed due to sown field and puddle soaked gate. Overall very enjoyable and a good pub at the end.

I have done this walk a few times but after all the rain of the past couple of weeks this was not a pleasant walk. Extremely muddy and boggy in places. Walking boots would have been useless. Wellies needed. Wont be doing it again until it's drier.

Very muddy in places. Had to deviate once as field was sown. Not difficult though. Really lovely walk. My first using the app.

Lovely walk. Just one path had been ploughed over and not remarked. Great scenery. Easy walking. Well maintained paths and new bridges have been laid.

This is a long route and a good for a decent walk, but its not a very nice walk some areas are rocky to walk along and the pathways are quite overgrown. The small village you walk through has some lovely houses. There are much better walks than this, I won’t be doing this one again.

Beautiful varied walk through pretty villages, fields and wooded areas. There were a few bridges over streams. Accurate route although some paths hard to spot so keep an eye out! (we went in May)

A messy, bitty walk. Not the best. Quite a lot of overgrown paths at this time of the year. Lots of nettles, brambles and thorns. Glad I wore long trousers. Bench in Rushden for a sit down!

Very enjoyable in the sunny dry weather we had. Would probably be hard going in places if wet.

Pleasant walk (number 4) but the 2nd half is hard going. Several farmers fields where the footpath have not been kept clear. We went at the end of August so the crops had been harvested. I would think it would have been very heavy going after a lot of rain. Also I guess it would be difficult if the fields were full of crops.

First 3 miles were perfect. Rest across ploughed fields and some very narrow overgrown paths. Therefore uneven to walk quickly. Pub in Cotteted has a very good reputation. Nice village green and bench after 40 minutes.

Lovely walk. Enjoyed going through the beautiful village of Rushden. Got to see Alpacas, Highland Cows and Deer. Shame the pub was closed but was Easter Sunday!
