The walk
Little Solsbury Hill Walk
This walk takes you around little Solsbury Hill which is situated outside of Bath above the village of Batheston.
Little Solsbury hill is the site of an Iron Age Hill fort which is managed by the National Trust.
The climb up the hill will reward you with fabulous views across Bath and the open countryside. It was also the inspiration behind Peter Gabriel's hit song 'Solsbury Hill'. Please note that there is some road walking on this route.

Walker review
The views from the top were great. We were there on a rainy day and we still thought it was good....We found one part of the route a little confusing, and it involved going across a field with cows. But other than that, it was an enjoyable walk.

Lovely walk up to the top and the views were amazing but there were cows up on top so we didnt get all the way round the yop as I’m not a fan of cows. We saw the views then ran back to the gate. Views were worth it so pretty!
