Chedworth Walks & Route Maps

This is the shortest of two walks from this start point and takes you through the beautiful Chedworth woods, before reaching open countryside with scenic views across the valley.

The walk leads you into the village through the quiet meandering lanes and you can stop for refreshments at the pretty village pub before continuing past the church and out of the village to the open farmland and woods that take you back to the start.

You will also pass the Roman Villa nestled in Chedworth woods. There is a charge to see the villa but the tearoom next door is open to the public. This walk is hilly.

This is the longer of the two walks from this location and starts by taking you into Chedworth Woods following the wooded bank of the River Coln.

After walking through the pretty woods, you head out onto open arable fields before walking along a quiet lane that straightens out in front of you, offering beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

The walk leads you into the pretty Cotswold village of Chedworth via the quiet meandering lanes, enabling you to stop for refreshments at the bustling village pub before continuing past the church and out of the village to the open farmland and woods that take you back to the start.
