Guiting Power Walks & Route Maps

This is the shortest of five walks in this area and takes you on a 2.5km circular route near the pretty village of Guiting Power.

Follow grassy paths, narrow tracks and lanes around the edge of Guiting Power with beautiful views over the rolling countryside.

There is an option on this walk to detour into the village itself (an extra 1.6km) which gives you the option of going to two pubs,'The Farmers Arms' and 'The Hollow Bottom Inn'. There is also a cafe for refreshments.

This is the second walk of five from this area and covers some of the beautiful Guiting Wood as well as providing some lovely views of the rolling hills and pretty hedged fields that you pass during the walk.

The River Windrush also follows a section of the walk. There is some walking on narrow lanes and the option to detour to Kineton where there is a pub 'The Halfway House' for refreshments.

This walk takes you around Guiting Power wood in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The pretty village of Guiting Power with it's russet coloured houses and two pubs is only a kilometre or so away.

Allow yourself to be immersed in this tranquil woodland with various species of flora and fauna.

This walk skirts the edge of two villages in the beautiful North Cotwolds, Kineton and Guiting Power.

Narrow lanes and farmland tracks allow you views across the rolling hills and farmland landscape. An extra (0.8km) will detour to Kineton where there is a pub, 'The Halfway House' and further along the walk there is an option to detour to Guiting Power (1.6km) which has two pubs 'The Farmers Arms' and 'The Hollow Bottom' at either end of the pretty village. There is also a cafe.

This is the longest walk of five from this area and takes you on a substantial walk around the quiet Guiting Woods with it's mixed species of woodland as well as covering narrow lanes and tracks that allow you beautiful views of the hilly landscape and farmland.

The River Windrush runs through some of this walk and you also have the option of detouring to the pretty village of Guiting Power with it's russet coloured houses and village green, giving you the ability to get a bite to eat and drink in pubs either end of the village. A further detour during the course of the walk will take you to Kineton which also has 'The Halfway House' public house.
