The walk
Uffington Walk
This long walk near the Wiltshire–Oxfordshire border explores the sweeping chalk hills around Uffington, an area known for its wide skies and far-reaching views.
The route crosses open downland with some steady climbs, giving a real sense of space and the rolling landscape that defines this part of the countryside.

Car park now accepts pay by phone. No ice cream van sadly. Fantastic walk, clear route, brilliant views.

Nice route. Will need cash for car park unless you have NT concession. Would recommend decent footwear as easy to turn an ankle in parts.
