Coate Water Walk
This gentle route circles the lake at Coate Water Country Park, offering an easygoing waterside stroll with plenty of open views across the water.
The wide, level paths make it a relaxed outing, with trees, grassy banks and occasional birdlife adding interest along the way.
It’s a simple, pleasant walk with a calm, parkland feel, ideal for an unhurried leg-stretch beside the lake and a welcoming pub near the entrance provides a handy spot for refreshments before or after the stroll.

Walker review
Nice short walk, a bit muddy in wet weather but paths were good and clear. The dog was offlead almost the whole time. There is a cafe but it was closed in the day we visited.
