Coleshill walk 01
This short route explores the attractive village of Coleshill and the peaceful grounds of Coleshill Park.
The walk combines quiet village lanes with open parkland and gentle countryside scenery, giving it a relaxed, rural feel throughout.
There’s a small section of roadside walking, but most of the route enjoys the charm of the village and its surrounding green spaces.

First-hand experiences
Really nice walk with a mix of scenery and terrains. Good pathways and the last section can be done through woodland rather than on the roadside. Good for dogs, ours was probably on lead for around a third of the walk. Great cafe with toilets en route.
Lovely walk with great views and Carpenters Canteen was a great stop for refreshments.

Nice walk. Ground was damp but not waterlogged. I suspect that would be different in parts after heavy rain. We did not visit the pub or cafe on this walk but we have visited the cafe at other times and the food is good
Coleshill walk 02
This longer route from Coleshill is a varied countryside adventure that takes in parkland, open fields and two characterful villages.
The walk explores the peaceful grounds of Coleshill Park, before heading out across rolling farmland towards the woodland hilltop of Badbury Hill.
The route also passes through the quiet lanes and stone cottages of Great Coxwell, adding a touch of village charm to the outing.
With a mix of scenery and a few gentle climbs, it’s a rewarding long walk with plenty of classic countryside character.

Great NT tea room in Coleshill towards the end of the route. Badbury Clump bluebells are stunning when they’re out (April).
The paths through the crops were clear and well maintained. Lovely churches en route. Great walk.
