The walk
Short Route
This short but demanding route is a rare there-and-back walk on our app, climbing steeply to the summit of Cley Hill.
The ascent is brief but energetic, quickly gaining height and building a strong sense of anticipation as the views begin to open out.
At the top, the effort is well rewarded with magnificent panoramas across the surrounding Wiltshire countryside, especially striking on clear days.
Although compact, this walk feels like a proper little challenge, making it ideal for a quick adventure when time is limited but big views are the goal.
