Walk information
This is a lovely short walk from the car park near the impressive Digswell Viaduct.
After a short stroll through a residential area, you'll then embark on a nice countryside loop that crosses a pretty bridge over the River Mimram, and then climbs up a steep hill towards Harmer Green. The effort is then rewarded with some lovely views before walking back towards Digswell.

Enjoyable walk on sunny day. Definitely good that the ground was dry and it wasnt too windy, when walking on the exposed path through a field. Worth a visit to the River Mimran! Beatuful pitstop.
It was very muddy (early Feb). Had to alter the route as it was quite hard going in places because of the slippery mud.
There was a bull or something similar with horns, just through the gate south of burnham green. I had to divert from the route

Definitely make the time to go along to the river and bridge section of the walk.
Lovely walk, some parts are wide and paved and some are narrow muddy paths. The time estimation was generous, we completed it in 1 hour without any rush.
Lovely walk with the dog. Fairly quiet route when we done it. Nice views and a paddle in the Mimram to cool the dog down.

Starts with a bit of street walking and there are a couple of busy roads to cross. Once you’ve done the first mile it’s a lovely walk
Walk information
This second route option (red-dotted route) is basically an extension to the first route that still enjoys the viaduct, pretty bridge and calorie burning climb up the hill.
However, the extension also takes you further to the north through some pretty undulating countryside and visits the lovely village of Burnham Green where you'll find a wonderful pub for refreshments.

Fab walk thank you! We were early so didn’t get to go to the pub, which was a mixed blessing as we hadn’t noticed the 2 hour parking limit mon-fri in the car park at the start. We’d have gone over time if we’d managed lunch… not sure how well patrolled it is though!
Thoroughly enjoyed this walk
Digswell Walk 2...Enjoyable walk starting from beneath the impressive viaduct. Ample parking. Clear paths, great for dog walking (with a couple of parts where they need to be on a lead). Slightly hilly but nothing too serious.
Apart from path entering the cows and bulls area, everything went well
Easy and enjoyable path, not requiring climbing. Cows and horses on the way, very peaceful but avoid if you have phobias for you need to walk through their fields. No toilet at the start but one pub half way, lovely seats outside, for a drink or lunch. The little waterfall was a cherry on the top.

Very muddy!!!
Lovely walk on a clear blue sky autumn day with far reaching views along mostly good clear footpaths. The recent rain had made a few bits a little muddy but no problems with walking boots. Lunch at the White Horse was very good and a much appreciated break and completed a very nice few hours in lovely North Herts countryside away from busy roads.
