This short route explores the high ground of Roundway Down, leading to the impressive remains of the Iron Age hillfort on Roundway Hill.
Starting at an already elevated point, the walk reaches open chalk downland with very little effort, yet still delivers wide, sweeping views across the surrounding countryside.
The exposed hilltop gives a real sense of history and space, with big skies and rolling landscapes in every direction.
