Seend Cleeve Walks & Route Maps

This is a fabulous short family-friendly walk from the pretty village of Seend Cleeve.

If you head clockwise, the first half of the walk is a stroll through the village and then through some pretty open countryside.

Then, the second half of the walk is a wonderful amble alongside the Kennet and Avon Canal until you get back to the start where you'll then be able to enjoy refreshments in the lovely canal-side pub.

This second route is an extension of the first route option, for those of you with a little bit more time for your walk.

The route enjoys everything from the first route, but the extra distance takes you through much more refreshing open countryside and also on a short adventure through Giles' Wood making it a slightly more varied walk.

This final route option is basically a further extension to the second route which offers a bit more of a work out and will build up a bigger appetite for your visit to the post-walk pub!

The extra distance offers an additional loop of walking that heads to the east towards the village of Seend and it includes more canal-side walking and a pretty steep climb up and down a hill.
