The walk
Piddinghoe Walk
This is a delightful walk from the church in the delightful village of Piddinghoe.
The walk takes you on a stroll alongside the River Ouse until it reaches the pretty Riverside Park community garden on the outskirts of Newhaven.
You'll then meander around the park for a while before heading back up the same path alongside the River to get back to the village.

Been here on a Bank Holiday and found it to be a beautiful 3 mile walk. Lovely scenery with a lot of the walk being not far from the River Ouse, and there was a lake on the other side for part of it. Great route. I would say its flat and a nice family/dog walking route. There has been mentioned in the reviews about the incinerator going causing bad smells but it wasnt on wen i went so no issues there. I also didnt have any issues with other peoples dogs. I didnt see any loos or a cafe but the town wasnt far so think you could use somethong there maybe or a find nearby pub. My understanding is you can park in certain places on the street mearby or in the church car park

Lovely walk. Only spoiled by ignorant, bad-tempered people with massive dogs, aggressive, untrained, off lead, big mouths and unmuzzled. It was a nightmare for my little friendly dog. I was reassured that it wasnt usually so bad but i wont be back and thats a shame.

This walk is a little on the dull side. Not very scenic and the fumes from the incinerator could definitely be smelt. On the whole though, an easy walk.
