Shere

This is a lovely short family-friendly stroll from the pretty village of Shere.

After visiting the church and then walking out of the village, you'll head on a lovely woodland path to the south along Dark Lane.

After a while, you'll then loop around and emerge from the woods before enjoying a glorious stretch of downhill walking back towards Shere, through Albury Park.

There are then a number of lovely pubs in the village to enjoy at the start or end of your walk, making this a great day out for the family.

If you have a bit more time for your adventure, then this second route option is a slightly longer walk that still heads out to the west of Shere, but explores many more of the public footpaths going through the wonderful Albury Park.

As with the first route, there are plenty of eateries in the Shere village for refreshments.
