Walk information
This is a lovely varied walk around the woodlands, fields and meadows of Outwood Common.
You'll start at the wonderful Outwood Windmill and then head off on a stroll around the Common. Towards the end of the route there are then two short optional detours that take you straight to a pub for refreshments.

First-hand experiences
20 Aug 2023. Neither en-route pub had any non-dairy milks. The Castle had no vegan meals. Only one bit of path (on the way to The Castle pub) was very overgrown. Otherwise a very pleasant walk.
Walk information
For those of you with more time and energy, this second route is a much longer adventure in and around Outwood Common.
The extra distance is basically made up from a big long loop of walking in the open countryside and arable farmland to the east until you meet up with the first route and stroll around the woodlands of the Outwood Common itself.
As with the first route, there are two optional short detours to pubs for refreshments.
