Walk information
This first walk is a wonderful short walk around the pretty woodlands of Gravelly Hill Common.
The walk starts with a lovely viewpoint, so some might suggest you don't need to walk anywhere. However, we think you'll enjoy the walk through the pretty woodlands as well, as long as you're prepared for occasional climb on the walk in this hilly area.
Walk information
If you have a lot more time and really want to stretch your legs and explore this hilly area, this is a much longer and more strenuous circular adventure from Gravelly Hill Common.
The route first heads off through pretty woodland to the east before turning and heading up to the north, over a hill, and along a long quiet country track.
After that, you'll loop back around and take the walk back south towards the woodlands. This long stretch of walking takes you through the residential, park and town centre areas of Caterham where you will find various cafes and eateries for refreshments.
