This third route option is basically an epic adventure for those of you that really want to stretch your legs on your walk from Reigate Heath.
The walk still enjoys the stroll around the woodlands and heathlands of the Heath itself, but then you'll embark on a long walk through a residential area and along a quiet lane until you start the very steep climb up the impressive Colley Hill.
Once you get to the top, you'll enjoy a sweeping walk along the top of Colley Hill, with fantastic views as you go. Then, you'll head back down the hill, and then through lots of open countryside, until you reach the village of Buckland where you'll find a village store for any refreshments you need.
After that, you'll follow the Dungates Lane track through more pretty countryside until you arrive back at the far western end of Reigate Heath.
As with the second route, you'll then walk through the golf course to get back to the start point, crossing some fairways as you go, so please be careful and watch out for flying golf balls at this point.
