Epsom Downs Walk and Map

This is a lovely short and interesting walk around the public footpaths that go through the Epsom race course.

Please check if there is a horse racing event going on at the racecourse before you travel, as the paths will not be accessible then.

If you have a bit more time and energy, then this second route is a simple extension to the first route that takes you further south into the downs, descending a long steep hill and enjoying the nice views of the downs.

Because you walk down the big hill, you'll obviously have to walk back up it as well through some nice woodland and this turns this version of the walk into a nice workout as well as a pretty walk.

If you really want a proper workout, then this third route goes even further to the south and deep into the downs offering you a very hilly walk with ups and downs and pretty views.

It still enjoys the racecourse and the views of the Epsom downs, but the extra effort will also take you through the Langley Vale Centenery Wood and also visit a nice pub half way around the route for well earned refreshments.
