Staffordshire Walks
Bishop's Wood in Staffordshire is a quiet area of woodland on the edge of the hamlet of Lipley, and it makes a pleasant setting for an easy walk among the trees. The walks begin by a welcome board at the entrance to the wood, and from there each route heads in under the canopy.
There are three clockwise circular routes to choose from, at just under 2 miles, 4 miles and nearly 6 miles. Almost all of each walk is in woodland, with gentle gradients throughout and one steadier climb on the middle route. The longest walk also touches Dorley Road briefly along the way.
