Bath City Riverside Walk

Bath City Riverside Walk
2.25 miles

This easy walk takes you through the gorgeous city of Bath using riverside paths. Amble alongside the River Avon and Bath and Kennet Canal with the incredible Bath architecture as the back drop. You will also pass the Holburne museum if you fancy a stop on the walk. Entry is free. This walk is mainly city walking and you will pass numerous pubs and cafés en route for refreshments.

Bath City Walk 1
3.25 miles

This walk blends Bath's remarkable architecture with breathtaking views over the city. You'll pass two of Bath's most iconic landmarks: the Royal Crescent and The Circus, as well as explore Hedgemead Park and some of the city's smaller crescents. For those looking to extend the experience, you can visit the Royal Victoria Botanical Gardens along the way. Plus, there are plenty of pubs and cafés en route for a well-earned refreshment stop.

The majority of the walking is on roadside paths, so please be careful around the roads. There are also a few gentle inclines on the route due to Bath's hilly nature.

If you're looking to explore more of Bath, this walk leads you past iconic landmarks such as the Royal Crescent and The Circus before connecting with the Bath Riverside walk. As with the first walk, it's mainly on roadside paths so please take care. This route then follows the River Avon and the Kennet and Avon Canal, offering stunning views of Bath's famous architecture along the way.

This mostly urban route provides plenty of opportunities to stop at the numerous pubs and cafés for refreshments.
