The walk
Dulverton Walk
This walk starts in the pretty market village of Dulverton which is situated on the banks of the River Barle.
The town has two pubs, 'The Bridge Inn' and 'The Lion' as well as a restaurant and bar called 'Woods' which was runner up in the 2021 Good Pub Guide.
There is also a tearoom and shops for you to meander around before or after your walk. This is an energetic walk taking you through a deep wooded valley. The pretty tree lined valley offers some beautiful views as you are surrounded by Exmoor.
The walk also crosses a small river offering a calm and tranquil feel to the walk with the surrounding woodland. There is a small amount of road walking in and out of the town, so please be careful here.
