The walk
Wheddon Cross Walk
An energetic circular walk which includes Cutcombe Hill, lovely woodlands bursting with wildlife, and views of the wonderful open countryside of Exmoor National Park.
Wheddon Cross is the highest village on Exmoor so the views are great.
There is a fair amount of road walking on quiet lanes during this walk. There is a pub 'Rest and be Thankful Inn' (which you park next to) where you can have refreshments if you have time.
