This is a lovely short and family-friendly circular walk from Chipping Norton, which is a typically quintessential Cotswold market town.
It visits some pretty countryside and the nice village of Over Norton before heading back to Chipping Norton where you can find plenty of shopping and refreshments.

Muddy when wet, but enjoyable walk! Very clear route.
Toilets and refreshments at start and finish. Pleasant walk but would be muddy over winter. No stiles as such but a couple of kissing gates which make it impassable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
We wore walking boots but it was an absolute mud fest so recommend wellies! We took our 4 year old and the playground on route was a massive hit. 😊

This route is an extended version of the first route.
It still enjoys the pretty countryside and the village of Over Norton, but it also takes you along Shakespeare's Way through farmers fields to the village of Salford on the route.
This offers more open countryside and exercise on your walk before getting back to Chipping Norton for your well earned reward at one of the town's eateries.

Great walk. Farmer was ploughing field near start so path across the field not clear. Recommended car park at start was full so we had to find roadside parking just outside town centre (
Loved this walk and would highly recommend it. Free parking at the start was great. A range of terrain too. Do it!!!!

This longest route also starts from the lovely old market town of Chipping Norton.
From here you will walk to the village of Salford and across open countryside and farm fields to visit the famous and mystical Rollright Stones, visiting the small village of Little Rollright on the way.
The walk then continues on to the pretty village of Over Norton and then back to Chipping Norton where, after your good leg stretch, you can be tempted by the range of shops, cafe's and hostelries.

Really nice route. The stones make for a nice picnic stop - though some of the paths on the way there are a bit overgrown. A fair bit of road walking towards the end but they aren’t too busy.

Lovely walk in a beautiful part of the world and very well kept
Not well signposted in places, went wrong once. Had to look at the gps quite a bit, but that often sat in the middle of a field. Would like to be able to zoom in more, or to have clearer field boundaries. But did enjoy it and will definitley do another.
