Teston Bridge Walks & Route Maps

This short walk begins in Teston Bridge Country Park, where open meadows and riverside paths set the scene beside one of Kent’s most historic crossings.

The medieval Teston Bridge itself, built in the 14th century from local ragstone, still carries its six pointed arches across the River Medway.

The route then follows the river, a broad, steady stretch long tied to trade, farming, and local industry.

This longer route starts out in Teston Bridge Country Park, where meadows and riverside grassland open out around the medieval bridge.
