Hertfordshire Walks
Set in and around the woodland and parkland of Whitewebbs Park, these walks offer a peaceful escape just north of Enfield, with a mix of streams, trees and open green space.
From waterside paths along Cuffley Brook and Turkey Brook to quieter woodland trails and higher ground in Hilly Fields, these walks provide plenty of variety, with options to suit both short strolls and longer countryside explorations.

Walk information
This is a lovely short walk around the pretty Whitewebbs park to the north of Enfield.
You'll enjoy the strolling alongside the Cuffley Brook, visit the small Flash Lane Aqueduct and stroll back through nice woodland.
It can get very muddy on this route after wet weather, so please wear appropriate footwear.

If you want a different short walk from the first route, then this second route offers an alternative walk for you.
This option instead takes you to the south into the 'Hilly Fields' and the route is on more solid paths, so it's a better option if it's wet weather.

Short walk that is on good condition paths apart from a few metres near the start. Still perfectly manageable with a buggy. Part of the ‘London Loop’ which sounds interesting.
Lovely walk, when dry it was bery straight forward can only imagine when its wet it gets very muddy.

If you have more time, then this third route takes you on a much longer adventure in and around the wonderful Whitewebbs park.
The route takes you much deeper into the Whitewebbs wood before visiting a welcome half way pub for refreshments.
After that, you'll embark on another long walk through more woodlands and alongside the Turkey Brook with lots of waterside walking to enjoy.

The final route option is an extension to the third route that also enjoys everything there is to discover in the Whitewebbs park.
However, before embarking on your woodland and waterside adventure around Whitewebbs, it also takes you on a walk up into the Hilly Fields Park, making this a lovely and varied adventure.

Lovey, mostly shaded route. Some very narrow paths that can get conjested. Mostly quite dog friendly. Would do it again.
A very enjoyable and varied walk. Plenty of parking. Great for dog walkers but could mean that you would need to allow a lot of extra time as there are so many streams for the dogs to jump into. Mostly good paths but it looks as though a few may become very muddy in wet weather. A slight detour in Archers Wood will take you to a new Beaver Enclosure (see photo). The cafe at the start/end sells good coffee and cakes. Also I would suggest that you take at look at the notices and information around the cafe. Apparently, Tottenham Hotspur FC are looking to buy a large section of Whitewebbs Park and put down Astro training pitches. Will be sad to see any of this green area lost.
Quite a bit of undulation but very scenic and enjoyable.
