Tollesbury Walks & Route Maps

This first Tollesbury route is a short walk that stays relatively close to the village’s heart, whilst still enjoying some of the beautiful coastline here.

The walk takes you past the marina where rows of sailing and motor boats line the tidal creeks, and it then takes you on a lovely loop blending countryside with more coastal walking.

A stop at the village pub half way around the route adds a welcoming touch and makes this a perfect day out.

If you have more time for your walk, then this longer route around Tollesbury extends the first route significantly to offer much more beautiful coastal walking.

Around the marina and Woodrolfe Creek, boats line the sheltered channels, reflecting the village’s long-standing links to fishing and sailing.

Further on, a long stretch of walking along the King Charles III England Coast Path leads you along the open sweep of Tollesbury Wick Marshes and River Blackwater.

Finally, a village pub offers a welcome break towards the end of the walk.
