Friday Woods Walk
This is a a wonderful walk around the beautiful Friday Woods which is an area of high nature conservation interest.
The woods is an ancient woodland, modified in places with plantations of conifers and sweet chestnut.
You can also expect to see lots of butterflies and bluebells if you visit this walk at the right time of year.

Car parking no longer available due to MOD closing after inappropriate usage of same. Small area outside principal gate available although not ideal.

Great walk , woods lovely at this time if year . Extremely muddy on places but manageable. Would love to do again in the spring .

Really enjoyed this walk with our two dogs. Very quiet, the dogs had a little paddle in a stream. Would definitely recommend and walk again soon...
