Great walk. We went after a fair bit of rain so some of the tracks were quite muddy and rutted. You needed to be pretty sure-footed with good boots. We were ok with that and enjoyed the views, hares and kites along the way.

New years day walk. The mud was frozen which meant that about a third of the path was really uneven because of tractor treads and ice. A really nice bench next to a tover for a lunch stop. Most views of farms but we also did see alpacas and sheep

This was a good walk brilliant views...due to lockdown we didnt try the two pubs enroute but have used them previously and they are really good.

Lovely views at the high points, pretty village. Some paths quite rutted in places so need to watch your step.

A stretch through Hanging Wood brings a change of scenery, with shaded paths and a quieter atmosphere before the route returns to open ground.

It’s a varied and rewarding long walk, with plenty of fresh air and big landscapes throughout.

to complete: the farmer shop in Berwick serves excellent coffee and all things to accompany it - an absolute gem not to be missed

We did this longer route first thing (7am) due to the heat but still met lots of people . Very clear route and stunning views. Limited shade for a hot day so take lots of water . Limited off lead opprtunities if you have a dog but still a lovely circuit.

Generally good tracks and byways so easy walking. One hilly section is quite rutted (due to previous wet weather and farm vehicles) so that’s tougher going, but a very enjoyable walk with fabulous views.
