This first walk is a short and simple stroll around the pretty woodlands and heather of Hesworth Common.
There are some very mild inclines on the walk and as with all woodland adventures, wellies might be required after wet weather.

Lovely walk but a bit short for my pups so extended it slightly at the start which made it just over 2 miles.Was absolutely stunning views despite it was raining very heavily will return when not raining as spotted so many more trails
Nice short loop rewarded with two benches with glorious views.I noticed a lot of bird song here, but not knowlegable enough to identify them.

This second route option is a much longer walk from Hesworth Common.
You'll start with a stroll through the village of Fittleworth, and then head out into more countryside footpaths that take you on a big loop of peaceful walking that eventually reaches a pub for a well earned pit stop.
After this, you'll head to the south to finish your adventure with more open and woodland paths, a visit to St Bartholomew's Church and finally a stroll through the pretty woodlands and heaths of Hesworth Common itself.
