Chiddingly Walks & Route Maps

This is a short little stroll in the pretty countryside surrounding the village of Chiddingly.

You'll explore the village itself, stroll along a pretty countryside and woodland path, visit another village called Muddles Green and then pass Bolt Wood (you can take a little detour to explore here if you wish).

There is a nice pub back in the village of Chiddingly for post walk refreshments and after wet weather, wellies might be required in the woodland sections.

This second route option is a longer adventure that explores the countryside to the north and east of Chiddingly.

You'll first venture out along the Vanguard way through pretty countryside and farmland until eventually you loop around and walk through Mill Wood.

You'll then head on up to Gun Hill where you'll find a welcome pub for a pitstop before heading back to the start along the Wealdway.
