This is a nice short and pleasant walk that mainly enjoys a stroll along a section of the Cuckoo Trail.

The Cuckoo Trail is a long and surfaced path that is perfect for walking and cycling, and it used to be the Cuckoo Train line between Heathfield and Shinewater Park.

After a walk along the trail, you'll loop around and walk back via open farmland countryside, quiet country lanes and with a visit to Hellingly itself with it's pretty church.

This second route option is basically a longer extended version of the first walk.

This route enjoys a much longer stretch of walking along the Cuckoo trail and also packs in some extra countryside walking.

I didnt go up the other half through the 2nd lot of fields as there was cows and sheep and my dog csn be reactive but beautiful walk
