The walk
Beechy Wood Walk
Beechy Wood is situated to the southern end of Norbury Park and this is a lovely but hilly woodland adventure in that area of the park.
You can expect lots of pretty woodland, a couple of great viewpoints and some steep ascents and descents as you work your way around.
On the way back you'll walk on a along the twisting Druid's Grove which is full of ups and downs and takes you through an ancient woodland ecosystem that includes some rare Yew and Box woodland.
There is also a barrister coffee van in Norbury Park. Check their facebook for opening hours.

Walker review
At the futhermost point, as you start your return, there are signs telling you to turn back due to danger of falling trees due to ash die back. We did get through but it was difficult, with lots of trunks to climb over. We won’t be doing it again
