This short Kemsing walk captures the beauty and history of the North Downs in a compact but hilly route.
It begins by taking you through Kemsing Down Nature Reserve, where steep chalk slopes burst with wildflowers and butterflies through summer, and wide views stretch across the Kent countryside.
The path continues to Shore Hill, a quiet high point shaped by centuries of grazing, before returning to the start where you can visit the peaceful spring of St Edith’s Well - a small but evocative reminder of the area’s medieval heritage.
It’s a gentle, scenic route that balances open landscapes, history, and local charm - with The Bell pub offering a welcoming finish back in the village.
