This longer Alkham walk explores the peaceful folds of the Kent Downs, with a mix of open countryside, wooded paths, and sweeping valley views.

The path passes through Gorsehill Wood, a small but atmospheric patch of native woodland alive with birdsong in spring and autumn colour later in the year.

It finishes near The Marquis of Granby, a village pub and a perfect place to unwind after a scenic walk through one of Kent’s most tranquil landscapes.
