Walk information
This first route is a short walk around the pretty Norton Common in the centre of Letchworth. The walk is almost entirely on solid paths, so it's perfectly suitable for wheels.
This is a lovely town park with pretty woodlands, a skate park, a play area for the kids and a heated outdoor pool and toddler pool that's open in the summer months.

Walk information
If you have a bit more time and are happy to go a bit more 'off-piste' so to speak, this second route is a slightly more wild version of the Norton Common walk.
It still enjoys the lovely park in Letchworth, but the extra distance also explores more depth of the park and takes you off the tarmac paths at times and through some more winding woodland and brook-side paths instead.

What a gem Norton Common is. A beautiful green area. Very enjoyable walk and saw several black squirrels that I must admit, i didn’t know existed. Walk 2 had several muddy sections that wouldn’t cause a problem with the right footwear. But, there was one part of the walk through the wooded section where we could not find the path. Not an issue as easily bypassed.
Very mucky and boggy to start the journey...Latter part very pleasant...Brook that dogs can go in half way round with clear running water
Great walk for dogs and smalls! Plenty of access to the little stream for doggie drinks and paddling.
