Stanton Walks & Route Maps

This is a lovely Stanton walk which starts in one of the prettiest villages you will find in the Cotswolds.

The route explores the beautiful surrounding countryside where you can enjoy woodland, valleys and wonderful views from the hilltops, which can reach as far as the Black Mountains on a clear day.

This route also takes you up Shenberrow hill for more great views over the Cotswolds. Please be aware that this is a hilly walk so you will need plenty of energy.

This second route option is a much longer adventure from Stanton.

It still enjoys the lovely undulating countryside around the village itself and the wonderful country pub, but this route also takes you on a much bigger loop of walking that visits the pretty church in Buckland and another great pub in Snowshill.

This is a long walk, with a lot of hills, so please go prepared with the appropriate clothing and refreshments.

This third route is basically an alternative version of the second long route.

It still visits the lovely pubs in Stanton and Snowshill, but instead of making it all the way up to the village of Buckland, you'll spend more time exploring the hills and woodlands between the villages of Stanton and Snowshill.
