This first route is a lovely and peaceful ramble around the countryside surrounding the pretty village of Good Easter.

After walking up the track to Farmbridge End, you'll head Northwest tracking the River Can at times as you go. Along the way, there's a short detour to a pretty ford that might be worth a visit if you have dogs who want a paddle.

Eventually, you'll turn away from the River and head east alongside a field and then along a quiet lane, before turning to the south for more countryside walking and a visit to the village of Good Easter itself.

This is my first walk using this app. Absolutely spot on! Went with my spaniel, who would give it 5 stars. The GPS is 100% accurate. Early on as you follow the river, there are a couple of options, check the app, you will quickly realise if you have taken the wrong path. A couple of country roads, we never saw a car. I put my dog back on the lead, but if your dog walks close to you, they are quiet enough to re-lead. Once at Good Easter church, i followed the footpath across the field, instead of going back on myself. Fab route, def recommend!

We couldn't follow the path at the end we were directed straight across a field which had crops growing in it so had to detour round. No pub on route but short drive to the Hare in Roxwell.

Thanks to the previous walkers note re the re-routed footpath. The footpath section from the village was very overgrown in August 21, just about passable.

This second route is a longer adventure that explores the peaceful countryside to the east of Good Easter.

The walk consists mainly of pretty countryside, with some areas alongside the River Can, and a walk around Mashbury Hall farm.

You'll also visit the village of Good Easter itself, where you'll explore it's pretty church.

Tip: Just before you reach the church, you'll find a bench with some lovely views - a perfect spot for a snack rest before embarking on the rest of this walk.

There are some short sections of walking on a road on this route, so please be careful here.

Walker review

Lovely walk, but if you are taking a dog unless it is very well behaved and will stay on a path/walk to heel off lead they would need to be kept on lead. A large part of the route is over public rights of way through privately owned fields. Not a lot of livestock, but there were sheep visible early on also horses along the way in other parts all in encosed fields, but a dog would be capable of venturing in with them.

Another amazing walk. Great for dogs. Be warned the farm you pass theough breeds pheasant they are within a fenced area but there are some escapers. My spaniel thought it was Christmas i did have to put him on the lead. Fab walk, definitely do it again. Thank you

This final route option is basically the best bits of walk 1 and walk 2 put together to create one epic adventure that fully explores the countryside around Good Easter.

As with the second route, there is a small detour to the church in Good Easter, with the bench out the back with pretty views for a half way snack stop.

There are some short sections of walking on a road on this route, so please be careful here.
