Matching Tye Walks & Route Maps

Very easy walk just to stretch legs and enjoy open air walk. Not much of a view, just nice green fields. Nice pub at the start/end.

A nice walk with the dog, which he loved! We slightly went off route across the field and ended up climbing down a ditch, which wasn't the worst thing but not ideal. The last bit along the road is a little bit dicey when cars are coming past, but they don't often and it does not last too long. The Fox Inn is a gem of a pub at the end of the walk with very friendly staff and locals.

Enjoyed the walk however we had to walk across ploughed fields of mud.

Walked in early January after a very wet period. Sloshed around muddy paths., would he a lovely walk later in the year. One observation: we parked as stated in the village hall car park, l noticed signs advising parking only for users of the hall. We did not get challenged but felt a little uncomfortable.

Anti clockwise start takes you on a 60mph country lane no paths cars are 1/2 metre away - this would stop me doing the walk again with a dog. The pub was lovely and the last section near church very pretty

Lovely walk through the fields but part of the paths were poorly maintained and very overgrown. Including patches with nettles and thistles. Not a problem for adults but consider long trousers. The rest was absolutely delightful.

Lovely little walk to take your dog on. Directions are very accurate and easy to follow on the map. The walk states it would take 1 and a half hours but we easily managed it in an hour and a quarter at an easy pace. Will do the walk again for sure!

The paths are really overgrown and quite treacherous in places. Some of the so called paths are just where a farmer had ploughed and may not always be there, the ones that are there have a very uneven terrain....There are positives, it has beautiful scenery and many wildflowers and live stock....If you are up for an adventure this walk is for you.

The Fox inn has toilets at the beginning. The entry to the first field was very tricky with overgrown brambles.

There were 3 stiles and none were dog friendly. Had to lift dog over so need a small dog or someone strong. One ploughed field to cross. Start and finish requires walking along a main road through the village. Peaceful walk and didn't meet anyone. Walking boots were fine, even in December. Plenty of parking in village hall.
